His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah
KUWAIT, April 20 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable of condolences to French President Francois Hollande following that the shooting attack on the Champs Elysees in Paris.
In his message, His Highness the Amir strongly condemned the terrorist attack that claimed the life of a policeman and injured two others.
He reaffirmed Kuwait's denunciation of such a heinous act of terrorism that has nothing to do with the noble values of Islam and other faiths.
He also expressed condolences for, and sympathy with, the leader, government and people of France as well as the family of the victim, and wished those injured quick recovery.
His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah sent similar cables to President Hollande. (end)
