On Monday afternoon it was announced that The Duchess of Cambridge had welcomed her third child.

The 36-year-old gave birth to a baby boy, weighing 8lb 70z at 11.01am. Although we are yet to get a glimpse of Kate or the newborn baby, we are expecting the family to make an appearance very soon because her stylist, Natasha Archer, was spotted leaving the Lindo Wing just after 10am this morning.

Having worked for the royal family since 2007, here's a little insight into Kate's right-hand woman.

How did she become Kate Middleton's stylist?

The 30-year-old never planned to have a career in styling.

After graduating with a Hispanic Studies degree from King's College in London, she started work at the Royal Household as Will and Kate's PA in 2007.

But, in 2014 she was given a promotion to become Kate's style advisor and now is responsible for putting together all of her designer looks and accompanying the family on royal tours.

Archer's presence on international tours is also sure to come in handy, as she also gained A levels in English, Art, Spanish and Italian from private boarding school Uppingham School in Leicestershire.

Archer tied the knot in 2017 to Chris Jackson, who fittingly is a Getty Image royal photographer.

The pair married in a French chateau near Bordeaux, her long sleeved lace gown holding a few similarities to Kate's royal white dress.

A quick scroll through her husband's Instagram account and it's clear that he's been there for all the big royal moments, from Prince Harry's engagement to Prince George's first day of school.

This won't be the first postpartum look Archer has had to plan.

In 2013, after the birth of Prince George, she became one of the first non-royals to enter to Lindo Wing, presumably to give Kate this pale blue polka dot dress by Jenny Packham.

Kate also wore the British designer after the birth of Princess Charlotte. So, could today be third time lucky?
