All Creatures Great and Small Fundraiser
First United Methodist Church Redondo Beach, 243 Broadway, hosts “All Creatures Great and Small Fundraiser” from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Original paintings and photographs donated by the artists will be on sale to raise funds for Greater Good Charities. Exhibition and Art Fair
The Pastel Society of Southern California presents its 16th Annual Exhibition celebrating members’ artwork at Riviera United Methodist Church, 375 Palos Verdes Blvd., in Redondo Beach, starting at 10 a.m. The show will feature original paintings by nationally recognized pastel artists, as well as local PSSC members from the Palos Verdes Peninsula, the South Bay, the greater Southern California area and nationwide. Hometown Fair
El Segundo presents its Annual Hometown Fair and Carnival at Library Park, on the 600 Block of Main Street, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will include music and entertainment from local talent, carnival rides and a Community Booth Expo. The Bake-Off event will award prizes to winners in various categories. Entries for the Bake-Off will be due between 10 to 11 a.m., with winners being announced in the afternoon. The Hermosa Beach Veterans Memorial Committee is searching for new veterans in the community to carry on the stewardship of the Veterans Memorial site (Pier and PCH) during First-Saturday clean-ups.
